When it comes to human dignity, we cannot make compromises.

Angela Merkel

Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is an act of justice. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and a decent life
Nelson Mandela

I pledge to protect the earth
And respect the Web of Life upon it
And to honor the dignity of every member of our global family
One planet, one people, one world in harmony
With peace, justice and freedom for all.
John Ince

When we deny the poor and the vulnerable their own human dignity and capacity for freedom and choice, it becomes self-denial. It becomes a denial of both our collective and individual dignity, at all levels of society.
